I do not really like how my art turned out, it looked a lot better before it was washed. In the dog part it is supposed to be reddish but it looks black n this picture. All of my white paint washed off so that messed up the picture pretty bad. You can see were i did not paint in straight lines and it got all wrinkled. everything was brighter.
Next time that I do this i am not going to use washable paint. because look at my dog, there was white washable paint in that and now it does not look very good. I might even rub lighter next time or I will use less white paint.
First you have to get all the air bubbles out. After that you shape it into what you plan on making. You give it designs so it isn't just a clump of clay. It gets put into the kilm and then you glaze it. Ounce the glaze is dry it gets put back in the kilm and you are done.
My fish turned out pretty good except I hoped that the stripe would be brighter. I would also be more careful with the glaze because if you mess up you clean it off and have to go over it again. Last of all i would make sure that there is enough glaze on it.
